By downloading, installing, or using the Dave Saves Dinner app ("DSD", "the app", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Dave Saves Dinner is a recipe sharing and social cooking app operated by David Nelson. Contact us at privacy@davesavesdinner.com.

You must be at least 13 years old to use DSD. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering. One person may not operate multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions.

When you upload recipes, cook posts, photos, or any other content to DSD: you confirm that you own the content or have the right to share it; you confirm the content does not infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, or other rights; you grant DSD a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free licence to display, store, distribute, and retain your content as part of the DSD community cookbook; recipes you upload become a permanent part of the DSD community cookbook and will be retained under DSD ownership even if you delete your account, so that the community continues to benefit from content you have contributed; you can delete your account at any time but recipes you have uploaded will remain on the platform.

You must not upload or share content that contains nudity, explicit sexual material, or graphic violence; harasses, bullies, or threatens other users; is racist, hateful, or discriminatory; infringes another person's copyright or intellectual property; contains spam or misleading information; depicts or encourages illegal activity; or is uploaded by someone other than you without their permission.

DSD uses automated AI moderation to detect prohibited content. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.

Users can report content or accounts that violate these terms using the in-app report function. We review reports and take action where appropriate. We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or ban any account at our sole discretion. We are not obligated to monitor all content but will act on reports promptly.

You can block other users at any time using the in-app block function. Blocking prevents the blocked user from seeing your content and removes them from your feed.

The DSD app, its design, logo, and underlying code are owned by David Nelson. Recipe content uploaded by users is licensed to DSD as described in Section 4. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the app without written permission.

DSD uses third party services including Cloudflare R2, Anthropic, Pusher, and Resend to operate the app. Your use of DSD is subject to those services' own terms and privacy policies where applicable.

DSD does not guarantee the accuracy of recipes or nutritional information uploaded by users. We are not responsible for any allergic reactions, injuries, or harm resulting from following recipes shared on the app. Always check ingredients carefully if you have food allergies or dietary requirements.

Recipes are community generated and have not been professionally verified. Always follow safe food handling and cooking temperature guidelines. DSD accepts no liability for any harm arising from following recipes shared on the platform.

DSD is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the app. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DSD and David Nelson shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, or property damage.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently delete accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your own account at any time via Edit Profile → Delete Account. Upon deletion your personal data, cook posts, photos, likes, follows, and activity are permanently removed. Recipes you have uploaded are retained as part of the DSD community cookbook.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
